Safe Haven for Women in Need
Erica's Second Breath Group Home, founded by Erica Buckman, embodies a deep commitment to providing support and care to women in need. Erica's personal journey as a double lung recipient, cancer survivor, and mother of three has profoundly shaped her mission. With her background in science and medical billing and coding, coupled with over 15 years in the medical field, Erica brings both professional expertise and personal empathy to her role.
The group home is specifically designed for women aged 30 and above who are facing homelessness and domestic violence. Erica's Second Breath offers a safe, nurturing environment where these women can start the healing process and work towards rebuilding their lives. Through this supportive space, Erica aims to provide not just shelter but also guidance and compassion, drawing from her own experiences to offer a place where women can find hope and a path forward.
